Hi friends! Today I wanted to share with you one of our super simple go-to meals! My Chicken Lettuce Tacos! These are not only easy to make and delicious, but they are healthy too!
Chicken Lettuce Tacos
- 2 Large Chicken Breasts
- 1 Pack Taco Seasoning
- 1 Cup Water
- 3-4 per person Lettuce Leaves Whatever are your favorite
- Shredded Cheese
- Hot Sauce
- Other Toppings You Like
Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees.
Butterfly chicken breasts so you have 4 pieces.
Add salt and pepper to taste. Bake for 20 minutes (or until just done).
Shred chicken with a fork and move to skillet on the stove.
Add taco seasoning (I didn't have any so I just threw together some seasonings. I didn't measure it out. I just put a little of everything! Much easier to buy taco seasoning in a pack).
Here are the seasonings I used.
Add 1 cup of water (if it still looks a little dry add a little more).
Let simmer about 8 minutes so the seasoning really coats the chicken. *Remember the chicken was already cooked so this is just to mix in the seasoning well.
Time to assemble your tacos. These are the toppings we used, but use whatever toppings you like.
