As I’m sure you’ve learned by now, I love a good DIY project. When I saw these adorable DIY Burlap Napkin Rings from the Burlap Kitchen’s tutorial I just had to give it a try for myself! I followed her steps, but switched it up with the twine I used for the bow. You can use anything for this really.
This project was so simple and quick, but it turned out so cute!
First, I gathered all my materials. You can use either two toilet paper rolls (cut in half) or a paper towel roll (cut into four pieces). I used burlap ribbon that I had on hand, but you could also use burlap fabric. I also pulled out my hot glue gun and some cute twine I bought at Target!
Wrap the roll pieces with the burlap and use hot glue to attach.
I trimmed the ends to make it a little easier for the next step. Run some hot glue along the inside edge of the roll and fold the burlap pieces over until it’s all tucked in nice. I HIGHLY recommend using something to help you hold the burlap to the glue during this part so you don’t burn yourself. I just used my scissors.
Lastly, I used some cute twine and tied it in a bow with the seam side in the back.
I think they turned out so cute and will look adorable on my holiday table!
How easy was that? I hope you enjoyed this tutorial for DIY Burlap Napkin Rings. Be sure to go check out the Burlap Kitchen and all the wonderful DIY’s she has!
